Modifications of the BassKessler Spectrograph

Volume 23, Number 4 (Aug. 1969) Page 370-371

Mann, D.M.; Johnson, S.E.

Three compact, grating spectrographs have been designed and constructed: a high-speed f/0.87 spectrograph, an f/6.8 larger dispersion spectrograph, and an ultraviolet spectrograph with quartz optics. All use commercially available lenses and 4×5 in. camera backs. Resolution of better than 2 Å is attainable with all three instruments.
