Suppression of Flame Contamination with the SprayerBurner Sheath in Emission Flame Photometry

An auxilary device has been used in tests done to measure contamination suppression achieved with a sheathed sprayer-burner in emission flame photometry. Sodium has been used as analyte and contaminant. Oxygen was utilized as sheath gas for oxygen-hydrogen flames.
