Simultaneous Determination of Copper, Manganese, Iron, and Calcium in Natural Rubber by Emission Spectrography

Volume 26, Number 3 (June 1972) Page 369-372

Ng, S.K.; Lai, P.T.

An emission spectrographic method for the simultaneous determination of trace quantities of copper, manganese, iron, and calcium in various types of dry natural rubber is described. The results are reproducible, the coefficient of variation averaging about 6% for samples of 1 g or larger. Accuracy of this method is verified by parallel analysis with atomic absorption spectrometry.
