The Spectrochemical Analysis of Corrosion Products on Lead Sheath of Cables

Volume 11, Number 2 (May 1957) Page 73-75

Bennett, W.J.

A procedure for the spectrochemical analysis of lead samples, such as corrosion products of lead sheath is described. The powdered material is buffered with germanium dioxide and graphite powder and the resultant mixture pelletized. Multisource type discharges are used. Desired elements can be measured over a wide range of composition.
