A Raman Spectroscopy Cell for Aqueous Solutions to 500C and 34.5 MPa

The design of a Raman spectroscopy cell capable of maintaining aqueous solutions at temperatures up to 500°C and pressures up to 34.5 MPa (5000 psi) is described. The apparatus is illustrated with the chemical interactions that take place in aqueous Ca(NO3)2 and Zn(NO3)2 under these conditions.
