An Entrance Slit Mask for Use with a Step Filter of Sector

Volume 32, Number 1 (Feb. 1978) Page 113-113

Wolcott, James F.

Rotating step sectors or eight-step filters are used on emission spectrographs to expand the range over which concentration levels may be determined. When all eight steps of the device are used, the number of exposures which can be placed on one photo plate is limited. Many times it is desirable to increase this limited number-in particular if the analysis does not require the full range of sectoring.
